It’s the last day of our trip. Waaaaaaaaaaaah! We’ve arrived at gigantic Charles de Gaulle airport via train from Lyon. Our hotel for the night is inside the airport complex, which makes everything convenient. We had quite a time figuring out which shuttle to take from the train station, through the airport, and to the hotel, but we made it without too much difficulty. A Visit to La Pharmacie
I’ve just concluded my visit to the Musée des Beaux Arts de Dijon by climbing the stairs to the top of Tour Phillipe Le Bon. What a view! But now it’s time to go back down and get back to the apartment to check on the status of my under-the-weather Better Half. When I got there, she was sitting in the living room instead of lying in bed, which was a good sign, but she was still pretty sick. The Bold, Fearless, Good, and Reckless Dukes of Burgundy
I’m at La Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon, located in the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. I’m looking at all kinds of neat art and artifacts, many of which are from the age when the Dukes of Burgundy ruled this part of the world. The first Duke of Burgundy was Philip the Bold. The Maid of Orléans
I’m in La Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon, inside the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. One of those dukes was Philip the Good. He’s still known by that name, even though he’s the guy who turned Joan of Arc — the Maid of Orléans — over to the English during the Hundred Years War. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

The Dijon Museum of Fine Arts is housed in the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. It’s nice to know a thing or two about the Dukes and the times they lived in, so we’re reviewing some of the goings-on. Lunch in Place Emile Zola
We spent the morning tromping around vineyards just south of Dijon on a Burgundy wine tour. Now we were back in town, and it’s time for lunch. We rarely go to the same restaurant twice when we’re on vacation. We want to check out as many places as possible. Burgundy Wine Tour, Part 2
We’re on a wine tour in Burgundy with our guide and new friend, Elo. It’s just the three of us. After meeting this morning at Place d’Arcy in central Dijon, we started driving south on D974. We turned off the main road, then drove down increasingly smaller roads. It wasn’t long before we got off roads altogether and drove into the vineyards.
